The Deputy Grand Lecturers are an evolution of the Lodge of Instruction program. These gentlemen are here to offer wise counsel while visitng your Lodge and assessing the "state of the Lodge". It became apparent that only two individuals trying to visit all the Lodges in the state was under serving the craft. The Deputy Grand Lecturers are there to help you and the Grand Lodge by performing the following duties:
- Visit each lodge in his district as often as possible;
- Examine the lodge records, meeting place, paraphernalia, furniture, and equipment;
- Witness lodge ritualistic work and ceremonies;
- Call attention to irregularities and offer wise counsel; and,
- Report their findings to the Grand Lodge.
